Bruce Bright

Bruce Bright serves as Club Secretary for Catena FC, helping guide the club's governance, league relations, compliance, and institutional development as it establishes itself within the American soccer landscape.

An accomplished attorney with more than two decades of experience representing businesses, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and community institutions, Bruce brings a unique combination of legal expertise, strategic insight, and public-sector experience to the club's leadership team.

​

A graduate of Widener University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor with honors, Bruce has built a distinguished career in civil litigation, appellate advocacy, municipal law, business matters, and organizational governance. Throughout his career, he has represented clients in state and federal courts, argued matters before Maryland's highest courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and advised both public and private entities on complex legal and operational issues.

Bruce currently serves with Ayres, Jenkins, Gordy & Almand, P.A., where his practice includes litigation, business advisory services, municipal representation, and organizational counsel. His work has included representation of leading regional and national organizations, municipalities, businesses, and community institutions throughout Maryland and beyond.

Beyond his legal practice, Bruce has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community leadership and service. He previously served on the Board of Directors of United Way of the Lower Shore, including terms as President, Executive Committee member, and Chairman of the Community Investment Committee.

At Catena FC, Bruce provides leadership in matters relating to governance, league and federation compliance, organizational structure, and long-term institutional planning. His experience navigating complex regulatory, legal, and organizational environments helps ensure the club is built on a strong and sustainable foundation.
